Dreadful experience dealing with my mother's probate and estate. Couldn't have been a simpler will (single beneficiary, one bank account, 1 house). Right Legal regularly took several weeks and repeated reminders to reply to just about every email sent - I have such a long list of complaints from dealing with them. On top of that, even their complaints department are dreadful. Over promising and underdelivering on a grand scale. Unfortunately, as this was during the tail end of covid, They made sure a difficult period for me, mentally, was made even worse by their lack of professionalism.

Wished we had never used you for my dear mother in laws estate. You are a woeful Company with true review record on Trust Pilot , one out of 5. So many reasons to corroborate this. Death in Feb 2024, simple will with 2 Bank accounts to close and here we are 17 months later and still nowhere near completed. Maybe something to do with your decision to give us 4 different case officers over this time. Documents family members supplied at your request lapsed in your hands and so had to be re done. Threats to go to the Ombudsman were met with we are not worried by this attitude, it won't change matters. Continual discontent and chasing has made no difference. There is no oversight, accountability or a performance culture in your organisation, just complicity and farcical mismanagement of loved ones assets. They would turn in their graves if they knew this was happening.

Avoid! Shocking service at what is an incredibly difficult time. It is almost a year since my Mum passed and we are no further forward with my probate application. The details I uploaded to them initially were not processed until I chased. I was lied to regarding when the application was sent. They didn’t send the right information to probate resulting in it being stopped in January, they decided not to inform me or deal with the query until I chased them in April. They have assured me they are dealing with the matter, however they still haven’t sent the correct forms to me. The Will went to probate with damage to it which needs to be certified, the Will wasn’t damaged when I sent it. Interest costs with the mortgage company are mounting and I can’t even pay it off as Right probate can’t be bothered to send me a Certified Copy of the Will. Nobody including admin assistants or probate advisors answer my emails and I can’t speak to anyone in authority as they are too precious to take phone calls. The Ombudsman is now dealing with my complaint.
