!***AVOID AT ALL COSTS***! Disgustingly poor quality products and sensible buyers should run a mile rather than considering buying from Relyon. After just two years of ownership, a side of the bed has collapsed significantly, as shown in the pictures. We contacted the selling store, who in turn contacted Relyon, who want to send out an 'independent' third party to inspect the mattress. I have seen the type of pointless merry-go round this creates from this review section, so I have told them not to bother. I am still furious at the waste of money...and I need to sleep, so I have had to replace the mattress from another manufacturer at my own cost. I will have to make do with sharing my story as widely as I can and warning people off the shoddy company called Relyon, who avoid honouring their guarantees.

ZERO STARS, but I couldn't post a review unless I gave it one star We purchased a Relyon Memory Pocket 1000 Mattress which has a a label sewn on saying it has a 5 year Guarantee, but it was a complete disaster, one of the worst purchases I've ever made in my life. The mattress was extremely badly made, there was almost no adhesive used to hold it together, after a few weeks, the sides started to separate from the top and base, the only thing holding it together was the zip on cover. This separation became increasingly noticeable, so we complained to both the supplier and Relyon, An "Engineer" was sent to inspect the mattress, but as he walked through the door, he said "It will be the slats on the bed frame, so they won't do anything about it" this was before he had even seen the mattress, but upon him inspecting the mattress, he could see the problem was obviously due to the lack of adhesive during construction, however, his report to Relyon, which ignored our comments, discounted the facts and Relyon refused to do anything about it at all, in fact, they didn't even acknowledge or answer any emails. The business we bought the mattress from were no help either, so we've ended up seriously out of pocket and have been forced to buy another mattress from a different company. I would not recommend Relyon products to my worst enemy, the standard of workmanship is so poor it can't really be called workmanship. The company has a poor track record of customer service and a distinct couldn't care less attitude. So once again, I would not recommend the disgraceful company that Relyon is to anyone, avoid them like the plague, buy from them at your peril. If my example is anything to go by, I would expect it's not difficult to find a great deal of adverse criticism of Relyon and their shoddy products and practices. Even the springs were rusty. Take a look at the photos and judge for yourself.

Please, please, please do not waste your money with this company. I paid £800 for a mattress that felt very comfortable in a reseller's shop. What was delivered felt completely different and I felt as though I was rolling into the centre. When a tuft ripped a hole in the mattress after around one month (one the side of the bed I did not even sleep on), I reported this to the reseller and mentioned my feeling that the mattress didn't feel right. I lay on the shop model again and this confirmed my suspicions that the mattress was not level and nowhere near as comfortable as advertised. When they repaired the ripped tuft, they completed a full inspection of the mattress and then denied me access to the report. I had to complete a Subject Access Request to get this, which shows a very prominent dip in the mattress, which they refuse to remedy. The report says ‘not liable for issue identified’, which implies there is an issue but they don’t want to pay for it. I'm pleased to share the test results of my expensive and disappointing mattress in the hope that you don't waste your money. Relyon took my money and delivered something that feels nothing like what was advertised, then refused to share the results of their inspection that show a mattress that clearly and unevenly dips in several areas. Total disappointment and terrible customer service. The Trustpilot reviews are highly recommended to show that this is not just my experience. Spend your money with someone more reputable and deserving. Update to follow after legal advice has been received.

Reviews Summary

The overall sentiment in customer reviews for Relyon as a mattress manufacturer is strongly negative. Reviewers consistently note issues with poor product quality, rapid mattress deterioration, and unresponsive customer service. Many customers report mattresses collapsing, significant dips forming within months, and a service approach that is perceived as unhelpful or dismissive. There are brief mentions of delivery mistakes and delays, with resolution processes being slow and unsatisfactory. One review stands out as positive regarding comfort and quality, but this is clearly the minority experience.

The most frequent themes across the reviews are related to build quality degradation, unfulfilled guarantees, and challenges in achieving satisfactory resolution. Common complaints highlight that mattress conditions decline quickly, third-party inspections rarely result in helpful outcomes, and both Relyon and resellers often deflect responsibility. One reviewer, offering a seller's perspective, contrasts these complaints with positive views on quality, but this comment is largely outweighed by negative experiences.

Overall, Relyon’s reputation as a mattress manufacturer is viewed critically based on available customer feedback. Consumer trust is notably diminished by the prevalence of unaddressed issues and what is perceived as avoidance of guarantee obligations. The widespread concerns center around product longevity and responsive aftersales support, positioning Relyon unfavorably in its market sector.
