I’m so grateful for Project Repat. I had a quilt made in memory of my mother using shirts of various textures and styles. It’s not a quick process, so be prepared to wait several months, but it’s absolutely worth it. You’ll need to precut the shirts according to their guidelines, and while it is on the pricier side, the final product is beautiful and meaningful. The team is thorough and thoughtful throughout the entire experience. Thank you Project Repat, for helping me preserve these precious memories.

I recently just got my blanket back in the mail and I couldn’t be happier! It’s such a sentimental and practical way to give new life to shirts that would otherwise sit forgotten in a drawer. The quality of the blanket is fantastic—soft, durable, and perfectly stitched. Every time I use it, I’m reminded of special memories tied to each shirt. It’s an amazing keepsake and a unique way to hold onto those moments while creating something useful. Highly recommend for anyone looking to preserve memories in a creative and functional way!

I've taken off stars due to the random placing of the t-shirts and the extra fees ... there was no pattern per se ... they used the back of t-shirts (the majority of my shirts were black), which is fine, but I'm not sure why they didn't space them out more appropriately ... in some areas, there is a pattern, and in other areas, it looks like they just had them in a pile and picked up a square and stuck them together. I also agree with other reviews with regard to "extra fees" ... they sent me an email "after" they made the decision to increase the panel size, and they automatically added the charge $30 to the credit card on file, another charge for $8.99 was to adjust the t-shirt to the panel size, and then an additional $37.92 for shipping! So be prepared to pay more than the original price you think you'll be paying! Overall, I'm disappointed in the final project .

Reviews Summary

The overall sentiment toward Project Repat’s t-shirt quilt service is largely positive, with many customers expressing gratitude for the company’s ability to create sentimental, high-quality keepsakes from cherished t-shirts. Reviewers consistently note the emotional value, careful workmanship, and ease of the process, though they also highlight that the turnaround time can be lengthy. Criticisms primarily revolve around panel layout inconsistencies and unexpected additional fees that are not made clear upfront.

Common feedback includes appreciation for Project Repat’s clear instructions and responsive communication, especially when handling important or emotional projects. Customers praise the durability, softness, and craftsmanship of the finished quilts and blankets, as well as the patience of the team in handling custom requests and changes. However, several reviews mention disappointment with the arrangement of t-shirt panels, some design choices, and a lack of follow-up from customer service regarding concerns or corrections.

Based on reviewer feedback, Project Repat maintains a solid reputation for producing meaningful and well-crafted t-shirt quilts, especially for memorial or gift purposes. While the service is viewed as reliable and valued for its personal touch, customers in the United States should pay close attention to costs, customization options, and timelines when using Project Repat’s services. Overall, customers regard Project Repat as a reputable option for turning sentimental clothing into unique keepsakes.
