Do NOT waste your time. I had nothing but issues. For instance:
1) In the UK, each Opinion Outpost point is equivalent to 5p. So 10 points is worth 50p. Sounds good? Sorry, but no. In my experience, to earn those 10 points, (if you actually make it through the survey without any issues), will take you 30-40+ minutes, despite what they state. And I'm quite fast when responding. So usually less than £1 for a constant 1 hour of work.
2) I would regularly spend far longer completing surveys than the stated time. Sometimes 40+ mins on a 15 minute survey.
3) After a few weeks, points for surveys seemed to be reducing, but times were increasing. For example, 18 mins for 3 points. (15p). And I knew it would take much longer than 18 mins to earn that 15p. And that was if I actually got the points without any issues.
4) I would be told I had completed surveys, only to then be told I had been screened out upon returning to my wall.
5) Surveys would return error messages. Usually after I had spent 30+ minutes (on a 10 min survey).
6) I would spend a great deal of time, giving a plethora of data and info., only to be told I wasn't compatible. And that was usually after going through a screening survey and being told I WAS compatible.
7) I'd spend a lot of time and effort completing a survey, only to be ejected (after giving a LOT of info. of course), only to be told they suddenly had sufficient responses.
8) After already claiming vouchers, FOUR times, I was suddenly locked out of the site. They demanded I give sensitive data, including a photo, or I could just "delete my account." No "contact us for details". Nice. I had £40 I wanted to claim.
I emailed them, and was told it was necessary. Nope! Especially as the company to whom I was expected to send this data were labelled, multiple times, on TrustPilot, as "Scammers."
I also discovered that the highly sensitive, personal information they expected me to send to the 3rd party would be stored. Even after my identity had been verified. I did ask why that was necessary, but that was ignored. But I was supposed to be reassured, because it was "encrypted." Encrypted data can still be accessed by someone determined enough.
As someone who is severely disabled and mainly housebound, I have no passport or driving licence, which was the proof they demanded I give to this company. They said they were a valid company, but I wasn't reassured. They then demanded I send "A medical certificate or benefit entitlement letter." To prove my disability?
I have NEVER had such issues with ANY survey company. Or in fact, any financial institution.
They did eventually release my account, after many emails to them, but unfortunately, the survey issues still continued.
I'd have to email them countless times due to constant issues, and while, sometimes, they did credit the missing points, I still had to waste time doing that, and it was incredibly frustrating.
The final straw came, when, after spending 27 minutes on a "10 minute" survey, and giving a LOT of responses, I was suddenly ejected because I had supposedly given an incorrect response to a quality check question. I definitely did not. This particular survey company had done this before, except that time I had spent 47+ mins on a 20 min survey.
I reported it. The response from Opinion Outpost? "You will indeed encounter cases where you will be disqualified at the beginning or somewhere in the middle or at the end of a survey."
At the end? After spending 47+ minutes, and giving a massive amount of data and responses?
I was finally done.
I have been a survey taker with various companies over the past 2 decades, and I tried, really hard, to resolve the multiple issues, and help this company, but I'm sad to say that Opinion Outpost is one of the worst survey companies I've experienced.
Please, don't waste your time.
