This is so beyond overdue, but you're gonna want to read this review - My husband and I are wedding professionals, we have a photography and videography business and have been working in the wedding industry for almost a decade. When I tell you I can count on 1 hand the number of planners I like, even that might be an exaggeration. But Modern Rebel is by far, my favorite wedding planning team! Amy has become my friend over the years of working together and collaborating on projects and it was such an incredible experience to have her coordinate our weekend-long wedding upstate (with ZERO cell service). Her kindness, professionalism and her ability to make everything seem like its running smoothly, even if its not, is so incredible. Not to mention the business, community and safe space she's built in this industry. Modern Rebel is as close to perfect as you can get. They prioritize the relationships over the wedding itself, have such a wide breadth of wedding experience that they're ready for anything, and they hire the COOLEST people - I have worked with so many folks from the Modern Rebel team like Ainsley, Brittany, Chelsea and so many others and each an every one of these people are so damn good at what they do. The overall mission of MR to highlight inclusion, equality and relationships is beyond what you could hope for in your wedding planner. The year we got married was one of the busiest we have ever had in our business and it would have been impossible to pull off the wedding weekend of our dreams without Modern Rebel. Thank you Amy, thank you team MR and thank the universe for bringing us together. Hire them. Even if you don't think you need a planner, or a coordinator, you do. The stress of planning everything yourself isn't worth it. Hiring Modern Rebel is worth every single penny. If you're trying to have a fun, non-traditional and unique wedding, there's no one better to help you make that happen.

Wedding planning is hard, and when we realized we were in over our heads, we reached out to Modern Rebel for some help. We connected with the lovely Amy Shack Egan and felt at ease with her and her team right away, leading to our easiest and most enthusiastic yes of the wedding planning process. We opted for partial planning as we found them later in our planning process. Though, I’m sure we would have likely really benefited from the full planning services had we found them sooner. Even so, we felt so supported in every way imaginable by the Modern Rebel team from contract advisement, to advice on tricky family dynamics, to recommending stellar vendors, to every little thing you didn’t think of, but they did. Though, the true standout in our time working with Modern Rebel has to be working with the incredible Cait Godfrey who was our wedding + day of coordinator. Cait is a force of nature who was so incredibly thorough, competent and meticulous that we never even had the chance to doubt that she had everything in hand. She was also so kind and gracious with us in the month before our wedding with all our MANY questions and concerns. Both me and my partner run a little anxious (like clinically), and my biggest fear for our wedding day was being worried over all of the details on the day and not being able to actually enjoy it. We can honestly say our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we were able to enjoy every second of it (and even the days leading up to it) knowing that we were in such great hands with Cait and her team. That is the greatest wedding gift we could have ever hoped for and we’re so incredibly grateful to Cait, Amy and the entire Modern Rebel team for giving us that. There are so many practical reasons we’re glad we chose Modern Rebel, but the peace of mind they gave us is the reason we can’t recommend them highly enough, and you can’t put a price on that. Thank you again, Modern Rebel team, for quite literally making our dreams come true!
