This is some text inside of a div block.
It has now been over a year since my partner was involved in a car accident and still the claim seems way off from being completed. The other party immediately admitted liability and as such it should be a very simple case. The case handler has made errors which means we've made no progress in the last 6 months and now has to go back to medical professional to amend the notes which was first raised months ago! There is no transparency in the progress of the claims and you are required to call to get any sort of update. Go elsewhere if you want a quicker professional service.

DO NOT USE THESE SOLICITORS. Absolutely ridiculous that I am having to write my first Google review but after reading so many similar experiences clearly this is a bigger problem than just mine. I am 8 months on from a straightforward non-fault claim (September 2024). The other party accepted liability straight away and Minster Law have been ‘calculating my loss of earnings’ for about 4 of those months. I uploaded my payslips on the portal as requested and then had to email for an update 2 months later as I had heard nothing from as told to email them which I did. I then heard nothing for another month and email again. I was fobbed off again with questions I had already explained and provided evidence for. It’s not been another 2 months and they’re asking the same questions I have already answered multiple times. I have explained how my claim being unsettled after almost a year is costing me a higher insurance premium and they keep just telling me they are calculating my earnings, even after I have told them to just move the claim along. So many people have said that a simple claim is taking upwards of 8 months which is honestly ridiculous. How can they string so many people along like this!

Wouldn’t bother , it’s almost been a year since my crash , I have had to follow up correspondence , and now after waiting so long for any update ! The solicitor dealing with my case has just upped and left, no word from her or anyone else in the firm ? When you’re dealing with life changing injuries and told to trust the firm for your claim , this is absolutely let down , I ring today ; given a separate number that doesn’t even work ! I ring back again ? The best they can do is email a case manager to get back to me . Are you serious . Absolutely useless !

Reviews Summary

Reviewers express predominantly negative sentiment regarding Minster Law’s legal services, particularly in handling motor insurance claims. Common feedback includes extensive delays, lack of transparency, and a need for persistent follow-up by clients. Even in straightforward cases with clear liability, clients report little progress over many months or years and find communication to be unsatisfactory. One positive experience with a particular solicitor is noted, but overall, frustration with poor process and communication overshadows individual staff efforts.

Frequent themes include clients having to repeatedly chase for updates, claims stalling for long periods, and staff changes that hinder case progress. Several reviewers mention that case handlers left without notice, cases being misplaced, or lack of response to emails. High legal costs and distress caused by these operational shortcomings are concerns. Only one review out of ten describes effective service, specifically crediting one staff member’s diligence and communication.

Overall, Minster Law is regarded as having a weak reputation for timely and transparent claims handling in the UK legal market, especially for motor claim cases. Prolonged claims, lack of proactive updates, and operational inefficiencies are main drawbacks. While a single staff member shows capability, consistent negative patterns in communication and process management damage the company’s standing among clients nationwide.
