We’ve had this for less than 3 years and we’ve nothing but problems. Gaskets came off and they said they would send someone out to fix it and never happened. They sent out now 2 new touch screen boards that i replaced myself. Now we are in Minnesota and winter is upon us and it won’t heat. They referred us to a local tech and said they may not be able to come out for a week. The company sent an email that told us how to position an electric heater to keep it freezing. Are you kidding me! Please fix the problem and get someone out asap. The parts tech from the company said i can get a part “discount” As you can see in photos it has leaked all around the base of the tub.Once a week Im refilling the tub to keep water level high enough. Customer service is awful and has no record of the multiple calls and complaints we have filed with them. Pictures also show a weighted blanked over the gaskets to try and keep the heat and moisture in. You can clearly see them hanging into the tub. The tub will only heat to 45 degrees and customer service said it will be 72 hours for a return call. By then my tub could freeze all together. A service tech can come out for 200.00 dollars to diagnose the problem, order part and return for another 200.00 dollars to install! Stay away from this company! You deserve a business that stands behind there product to make it right. They have never supported us as customer since day one!! Go elsewhere for a quality product!!

***4/9/25 UPDATE: After many phone calls, emails and getting WFMY’s Kevin Kennedy involved, on 3/27/25, LPI sent a technician out from TN. He was here for a couple hours and repaired the pipe that was cut sometime during the manufacturing process. We have been able to use the hot tub for two weeks now and hope that we have finally solved the problem that was making our purchase so difficult! We are thankful that the issue appears to be resolved. CONTINUE TO BEWARE!! ***2nd UPDATE:12/19/24: NO WATER IN THE HOT TUB DUE TO A LEAK!! Customer service can send a dye kit out…and I pay for it; HOWEVER, I will NOT PAY FOR THIS KIT. I am BEYOND frustrated with the fact that we have made such a large purchase, and for close to 7 months of the 18 months we have had the hot tub, we have been unable to use it. AND, the cost of a repairman? AQUA LIVING…you should do better. Once again, use caution when shopping for a hot tub there. Like I said before, our buying and delivery experience was exceptional…but once we had problems start approximately 5 months after purchase, then discovered that the tub as faulty when delivered, their customer service to back their product is TERRIBLE! I hope that this is the last “update”…but I am sure once this gets fixed, I’ll only get about 6 months out and have another issue. So frustrated. Think I will call the BBB now… ————————————————————————————— 12/23 Our purchase was simple at Aqua Living in Charlotte NC. We had a great delivery as well. The problem is that the hot tub is delivered and they tell you stuff that you can’t “see” until the power is ready. The manual we were given wasn’t for our type of hot tub so it didn’t help us too much. Using our hot tub became one of “trial and error”. Right now, we are 5 months out with our hot tub and it won’t hold water because it’s leaking from the bottom through our deck. When I called, they said that our 3 month labor warranty had expired so we would have to pay to have a technician come out. I even reached out to our delivery guy who said he could and would answer any questions we had…he won’t respond either. If I could return the tub, I absolutely would. So far, we’ve been made lots of promises that haven’t been kept. Sorry Aqua Living…your text asked for positive feedback, but as of now, I really have nothing positive to say. Unsatisfied with post delivery and with customer service care.

Horrible experience. purchased tub from Aqua Living (separate complaint) and started initial "support request" on 1.19.25 (case #: 32128). Spent hours and over 25 emails back-and-forth to try and get them to handle "broken hot tub." Kept being asked to do the same things and de-bug "why" the hot tub isn't working instead of them sending someone out. Spent hours on the phone to try to come to resolution. Ended up paying $450 for parts and labor only to be told that I also had to pay for the replacement top ($500) and the ONLY WAY they would replace it without costs is by me taking down negative review. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.

Reviews Summary

Overall, customer sentiment towards Aqua Living's hot tub and spa manufacturing services is mixed, with a notable divide between positive purchase experiences and ongoing product or service issues. Reviewers frequently note easy sales and knowledgeable staff but report ongoing dissatisfaction with customer service, repairs, and post-purchase support. Several accounts highlight unresolved technical issues and prolonged communication gaps. Instances of unfulfilled service promises, unresolved product faults, and additional charges for repairs are common, casting doubt on the company's after-sales reliability.

The most persistent themes include frustration with customer service responsiveness, technical reliability of the products, and difficulties in issue resolution. While staff members such as sales reps and individual service personnel (e.g., Cheyenne, Danielle) receive praise for personal attention and professionalism, these positives are offset by complaints about warranty handling and the company’s managerial response. Locations such as Charlotte, NC are specifically mentioned, showing that both positive and negative experiences occur across different branches.

In summary, Aqua Living is regarded as a manufacturer providing knowledgeable sales support and a satisfactory purchasing process, particularly in regions like North Carolina. However, their reputation is significantly weakened by inconsistent aftercare and lack of prompt solutions for product-related problems, which prospective customers should carefully consider before buying.

Frequently Asked Questions About LPI Inc.

Does Aqua Living provide effective post-sale support for hot tub issues?

Multiple reviews indicate that Aqua Living’s post-sale support can be inconsistent, with some customers experiencing delayed response times and unresolved service issues. Others have had their problems addressed promptly with positive individual interactions, but resolving complex technical faults may require persistence.

How long does it take to receive a custom-ordered hot tub or spa?

Reviews suggest that Aqua Living builds all swim spas and hot tubs when ordered, so customers should expect a lead time of a few months from purchase to delivery. This process allows time for site preparation and coordination with contractors.

Who is responsible for repairs and technical service if there is an issue?

According to reviewer feedback, customers may need to coordinate with local technicians for diagnosis and repairs. Aqua Living may send parts or provide instructions, but service calls can incur additional fees, especially after the initial warranty period.
