Reviews Summary

Overall sentiment toward LDC dermatology clinic is mixed, leaning toward the negative. Several reviewers report dissatisfaction with the consultation process, citing rushed appointments, inadequate communication, and a lack of transparency in pricing. Complaints particularly focus on feeling that the clinic prioritizes sales and turnover over patient care, with some describing encounters as transactional or unprofessional.

Common themes include inconsistent communication—patients mention delay or absence of promised test results and lack of meaningful follow-up after payment. While some staff are perceived as friendly and punctual, the quality of clinical outcomes, clarity of explanations, and the cleanliness and upkeep of facilities are frequent concerns. Experiences with procedures or tests are described variably, with a few positive acknowledgements of thorough examinations and helpful physicians.

Ultimately, LDC Dermatology has built a reputation in its region for offering timely private appointments, sometimes after NHS delays, but is equally noted for its impersonal service, communication shortfalls, and cost/value issues. Repeat visits appear rare, with most recommendations being cautious or conditional.

I visited this dermatology clinic expecting a more thorough consultation based on the advertised “from £245” starting cost. However, I was quite disappointed with the experience. The £245 turned out to be just for a consultation that lasted less than two minutes. The doctor gave a quick glance at my 1cm scalp cyst—no questions asked, no medical history taken, no real discussion or examination. Immediately after, I was sent to speak with a finance representative who informed me that if I decided to proceed with the procedure, the £245 would be deducted from the total cost. However, if I chose not to go ahead, I would still have to pay the full £245 just for the brief "consultation." I left feeling like the process was more about sales than care. For a medical consultation, I expected a more detailed and patient-focused approach. Transparency on the website would help manage expectations—especially for new patients.

Perfect! After more than one year of failed attempts to try to get an NHS dermatologist to get my moles checked I decided not to waste more time and started doing google searches for a private option. I’m so glad I found this place! My experience was seamless from beginning to end. The doctor gave me a full body check which felt really thorough and detailed. Luckily she couldn’t find anything suspicious. I will 100% be coming here for a yearly check!! Thank you guys!!

Thank you for your great service You have a wonderful team work Patients are seeing by the doctors at their actual appointment time. Even though I am still waiting for the results, i am certain enough that it will come on time as promised. This will make me start the right treatment at the right time. Additionally, the charge fee is well competitive, much cheaper than other private clinics.
