This is some text inside of a div block.
At the time of arrival, there was a long queue — likely the case on any day. Still, the wait wasn’t too bad, around 15–20 minutes to get in. Once inside, you’ll find eight serving stations (or “cutters,” as they’re called), followed by another short wait of about 15 minutes. The sandwiches are massive, packed with flavorful meat. Pickles are a must, and mustard and ketchup are available on the tables. Despite the crowd, it’s possible to find a table and enjoy your meal while looking at the walls covered with photos of famous visitors. All in all, definitely a place worth visiting at least once.

Katz is considered to be a legendary NY deli for a reason! I've been here three times throughout the years and, yes, it actually lives up to the hype! It can get really crowded though, so I would recommend going late at night on a weekend (they're open 24 hours through the weekend). It's also quite pricey for a sandwich, so do keep that in mind. I promise it's worth it! This time around I got the 1/2 Sandwich and Soup Combo, with my sandwich of choice being the Pastrami Reuben and my soup being the Chicken Noodle Soup. The Pastrami Reuben was actually phenomenal! The synergy of the sandwich is out of this world. Each bite contains a symphony of gooey Swiss cheese, flavorful Russian dressing, acidic and sweet sauerkraut, and of course divinely tender and unctuous pastrami! Seriously, the pastrami is by far the best I've had! Honestly I do feel as if the last two times I've been here the pastrami was even better (it seemed to me as if the pastrami this time around was slightly less fatty), but eating it was still an out of body experience. I will say though, I wasn't all that impressed with the Chicken Noodle Soup. The broth was less flavorful than I was expecting. Cant recommend the Pastrami Reuben enough though!! In the past I've had the classic Pastrami Sandwich with just some mustard on it and I can attest that it's also unbelievable! Katz is the best deli I've tried, and I definitely think it's worth giving a shot if you're in NYC and like meat!

Hands down, the best pastrami I’ve ever had! Juicy, tender, and full of flavor — it definitely lives up to the hype. The sandwich was massive and worth every bite. 🥩🔥 Important tip: Be sure to tip the guys at the counter — it really makes a difference! A small tip can get you the best, fattier, and more flavorful cuts of pastrami. A classic NYC experience you shouldn't miss.
