This is some text inside of a div block.
I don't even want to leave 1 star, I have come off the telephone from upset, distressed and cross. I phoned as I found out my council tax bill I was paying wasn't covering one I'd fallen behind therefore contacted Jacobs to make a payment plan. The man I spoke to 'matty' was absolutely appalling in his communication calling me childish and I should learn to listen as I asked him to repeat again why I could not set up a payment plan and that I should pay my bills or expect bailiffs to come. He had told me I had to pay 250 per month or expect a knock at the door I said I really can not afford that but I am able to pay around 100 per month. Told me again I'm clearly not listening and can we talk like adults. Due to me stating I can not pay what he's requested and I should not be asking him to repeat himself as he states I'm not listening. I advised him I am listening and I made the call to them therefore wanting to get a plan set up. He said he's not willing to go over my options and expect a knock at the door. I said so what are my options he then put the phone down. I informed him during the call i am going to start recording due to his communication with me and this did not seem to be of interest as he continued with the abuse. This is why people are distressed upset and some people are killing themselves ! Shocking behaviour. I did call back and spoke to someone called Olly and he was much better I will leave a separate review for him.

I received my letter this weekend and went in with a forehead full of steam but when I decided to ring them instead I found they were really pleasant. The gentleman I spoke to was very kind and affable, he set my payment plan up in short time and explained how their terms work which seemed understandable to me. In short you have four months to obtain the money owed. For the manner of debt collection they work in that seemed reasonable to me. If you contact them respectfully and form a payment plan with them, they take no further action. Regardless, my experience so far has been absolutely sound, I'll bare no grudge about making my repayments.

SHIT COMPANY AND BULLIES!!! Received a notice today 10/07/2025 for a bus lane fine. Called to set up a payment plan based on my affordability (cleaning it in 6 months) Got refused and told they will add more if they come down. How can you ask for more money if the person can’t afford to pay to begin with and is still willing to offer to pay.
