I went to three dermatologists trying to get help from my suffering with breakouts, inflammation and scarring and have just wanted to hide because my skin has been so challenging lately. The dermatologists all just gave me oral medication and topicals, throwing prescriptions and antibiotics at me like a guinea pig. Not only did the meds not work at all, the oral meds gave me bad side effects, and they made my skin flare up worse than ever before! Desperate for help, I decided to try a medical aesthetician for a facial and booked with Sophia. I told the booking concierge my problems and was informed they would customize the facial just for my skin type and issues. It would not be just fluff, this is a service procedure designed to improve skin and address issues that I am having. I was a little timid of what to expect, but was delighted to find out that Sophia specializes in solving acne (as well as other things too like anti-aging). She was a real PRO! She works on skin every day all day long, and everything she did was like magic. Literally a thousand times better results at Hela than at the three derms I went to. My skin has never looked better. I am following her protocol at home and I go see her every 4 weeks.This experience at Hela has been life changing for me.
