We had a great experience buying our first caravan from Glossop Caravans. In this day and age its extremely rare to feel like you're treated well as a customer, but we definitely felt like the staff at Glossop Caravans went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. After chatting with the staff it became apparent many were long-servers, some having been with the company 20+ years. For me, this says a lot about a company. Firstly, browsing is a pleasure with the lovely staff and attentive but never pushy salesmen. We were offered free drinks as we walked around with our 4-year-old (one of the days we visited was hot, so this was very welcome!) We visited over a number of weekends to browse, with no immediate intention of buying anything. After repeatedly seeing the same model which caught our interest (a 2017 Bailey Pegasus Palermo), we caught the attention of Shaun, one of salesman, who spent a good hour with us explaining everything about the caravan and answering any questions we had, but I never felt like he was pushing a sale. One thing I don't think Glossop Caravans draw enough attention to is the fact all the used caravans are in a pre-sale state; meaning any small cosmetic or functionality issues are fixed before delivery. I didn't know this, and I could see how people could easily be put off buying upon noticing issues that would normally be up to the buyer to sort after collection. I had noticed and made a mental note of a few small issues with the caravan we had chosen, I was fully expecting to spend a little time after we'd taken collection fixing them myself. Shaun explained that the caravan would have a full pre-delivery inspection and service, that any issues would be sorted, and would be as close to brand new as possible. I wrote this off as usual salesman talk, believing they would indeed fix obvious things like non-working electrics, but wouldn't bother with minor things such as scuffed cupboard door handles (the usual wear-and-tear anyone would expect when you buy a used product). The things I noted but never actually mentioned to Shaun were that all the interior door handles were scuffed and scratched, the bathroom door only opened when the handle was lifted upwards and not when it was pushed down, the partition blind's handle had come off, and the rear diffuser on the back of the caravan had a tatty looking seal. All very minor things that, again, I reasonably expected on an 8-year-old used caravan, and expected to fix them myself after we collected. We were happy with the deal we were offered, which included a starter kit, a new awning package, and a motor mover (which wasn't fitted at the time of viewing). Upon collection, I was genuinely shocked to find every single one of the issues I'd noticed had been repaired during the PDI. The caravan was immaculate inside and out, cleaned spotlessly, it even smelled amazing inside! You really would have to look very closely to see this it wasn't brand new. It really is a refreshing change these days when a salesmen says he will do something and actually does it! At dispatch we were shown around the caravan and it was all explained to us how everything in and on the caravan worked. We were shown how to move it with the mover, how to hitch up, everything a caravan newbie needs to know! Claire in the dispatch office was lovely,; offered us complimentary drinks and, again, just treated us as valued customers. We were even given complimentary items in the shop which we were fully prepared to buy! Genuinely, one of the best sales experiences I've had in a long time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Glossop Caravans to anybody I know, nor would I even consider buying elsewhere if ever we came to change our caravan. We've had the caravan two weeks now and have used it for 9 of those days, having covered around a thousand miles towing, absolutely no issues. I have had no cause to make use of the 15-month warranty yet but I'm confident if we do have any issues that we would receive the same level of service that we have so far!

Lovely place, staff are lovely and helpful, seem really genuine to get you a good deal within your price range and will add extras on top. great selection of caravans and motorhomes that are reasonably priced. Also the flowers beds in summer are so beautiful with the water fountains they have. And they have a big deck chair that my children loved having a picture on. Overall one of best places I have been that sell caravans and motorhomes, they take pride in there business with there exceptional service and how beautiful the place is. The only thing missing is a cafe, - but never the less still one of the best!

Bought our first caravan and loads of accessories from them, from purchase to handover, awnings and shop everybody couldn't do enough for us we even stopped over for the night on handover day. From our experience we would highly recommend.
