Choosing Found for my dog’s board and train was the best decision I’ve made for my dog and me. My dog Hodges is a rescue Belgian Malinois, and he had a particularly severe case of reactivity and anxiety. Because of this, I was overwhelmed and at a loss with how to train him. After comparing multiple board and train facilities, I settled on Found. The people at Found are the absolute best. They truly care about what they do and about what is best for each dog and owner. Hodges mainly worked with trainers Justin and Julianna, and they did such an amazing job (honestly, they worked miracles). Everyone in my life who had known Hodges before and after training has commented about how he is a different dog, for the absolute better. He had so much reactivity and separation anxiety, and it was creating a lot of anxiety for me as well. Hodges is now so much calmer, but is still his goofy self and is much more confident. Justin and Julianna helped me to learn handling skills with Hodges to continue after the board and train program ended. I loved having the weekly sessions while my dog was in training so I could see his progress and learn how to implement what my dog had been taught. This has helped me to transfer these skills when Hodges returned home. The staff at Found emphasize training the owner in handling skills, which I did not see at other training facilities. Like others have said, you also have to put in the work once your dog comes home, but it is totally worth it! I cannot recommend Found enough if you are looking for a board and train facility for your dog. I absolutely love all the report cards and updates they share. Hodges recently went back for another board and train program to refresh some of his skills from his first program, and to learn more advanced obedience. I am so glad Hodges and I found Found.
