Excellent experience from start to finish. From our first contact to the final inspection visits I can’t fault Consumer Energy Solutions for their service. All the installation teams (we had ventilation, solar panels and an air source heat pump installed) were excellent. They were friendly, efficient, knew exactly what they were doing and very thorough. All our systems are working perfectly and we’re already seeing substantial savings in electricity and oil consumption. The whole process has been fully documented & accredited, and the final inspections were very thorough. I have no hesitation in recommending Consumer Energy Solutions.

Our experience with this company, operating under a government-funded heating grant scheme, has been extremely distressing and damaging—both emotionally and physically to our home. What began as a routine installation quickly spiralled into a series of serious issues. We experienced an initial leak that caused property damage, followed by further damage during the company’s attempt to repair our home! Most concerning of all was a major mains water leak, which we allege was caused by the company’s work. Despite clear evidence of the timing and impact, the company has denied any responsibility. Throughout this ordeal, communication has been evasive, accountability has been non-existent, and the overall conduct has been unprofessional at best. We have also experienced unauthorised visits and individuals taking photographs of our property without consent—behaviour that we find both invasive and unacceptable. We strongly urge others to document every interaction and proceed with extreme caution if considering this company. What should have been a helpful government-supported service has instead left us with lasting damage and no resolution. Note: We fully expect the company to respond to this review with a generic, dismissive message claiming to take feedback seriously. Please know that such responses do not reflect the reality of our experience, nor do they address the serious issues raised here. This too good to be true grant for solar panels, radiators, window vents, cavity wall insulation, new boiler and loft insulation, appeared to be just that, too good to be true. However, we’ve just had the above completed. The workmen, of various trades have all been outstanding, completing the work to a high standard and always being courteous and leaving the house clean and tidy. I have no complaints with the standard of work whatsoever. Any small issues have been dealt with immediately, with having such a large amount of work both indoor and out, inevitably some snags, but everything has been corrected with no issues. Genuinely couldn’t be happier with the work. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review would be due to the miscommunication between the office and the tradesmen. Frequently my availability wasn’t relayed to them, guaranteed times that they would be here wasn’t relayed to either the workers or myself. This has caused some delays in completing work. A little frustrating, especially when getting through on the phone to the office is almost impossible. Email is the key to communications with office team, clearly they’re inundated with calls for this amazing grant.
