Reviews Summary

Reviewers report overwhelmingly negative experiences with Arrow Conveyancing in the property conveyancing sector. Most customers describe significant delays, poor communication, and unresolved issues throughout their transactions. While a small minority cite individual solicitors—such as Allison and Robin—for being attentive and efficient, the majority express frustration over lack of responsiveness, errors in documentation, and unexpected costs, sometimes naming staff like Faiza Iqbal and Alex Smith in negative contexts. Consistently, even satisfied customers mention difficulties with overall company contact and communication.

Key themes across these reviews include slow response times, inconsistent information, and recurring administrative errors. Many customers mention needing to chase updates or receiving incomplete or unclear communication, with repeated complaints about long delays in processing and a lack of transparency regarding quotes and final costs. Some reviewers highlight unprofessional interactions and concern over additional fees or lack of accountability. Even positive assessments typically single out particular staff, not the wider process or company structure.

Overall, Arrow Conveyancing is viewed as unreliable and difficult to work with based on customer feedback. Recurring patterns of inefficiency, miscommunication, and lack of resolution have a strong effect on its reputation in the UK property conveyancing market. While isolated praise exists for individual staff, the general sentiment in reviews points to widespread operational weaknesses and customer dissatisfaction.

Allison was my solicitor for buying a flat, and I honestly couldn't have asked for better support. She was always one step ahead- super responsive, clear in her communication, and completely on top of everything from start to finish. I was definitely that client-asking a million questions and stressing over every detail but Allison was incredibly supportive throughout the whole process. Her speedy replies and attention to detail really made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find someone so efficient and dependable. I felt in very safe hands the entire time. Would 100% recommend Allison to anyone buying a property.

I wasn’t going to leave a review as I prefer to only do so where I have mostly positive things to say, but as they have sent me an email requesting feedback, I now feel inclined to say something.I wish I had read the reviews of previous posters prior to going ahead with Arrow. Unfortunately, they were recommended to me by L&C, who were actually great so I felt safe taking their recommendation. My experience with Arrow mirrors what others have said, they are very slow to reply. Multiple errors in various documents, from incorrect spelling of names to entirely wrong figures. I had to point these out multiple times and even correct these myself. They didn’t utilise their ‘secure app’ and I had to sent everything unencrypted via email. They couldn’t answer questions I had regarding easements and covenants, I had to do this research myself. It wasn’t immediately obvious who the actual solicitor was to be named on my insurance papers. They needed to be constantly chased to get any updates. The estate agent, believe it or not, was actually the saving grace of the process as they did most of the chasing and were actually the ones keeping me informed. I had to push back completion multiple times and renew my existing tenancy last minute each time (something I know most landlords would not allow, I am very fortunate that I was able to do this). The icing on the cake, I enquired prior to completion whether my quote for the services was accurate as I had received two quotes which varied, I was assured my original was accurate. The day of completion I got my final bill. It went from the estimate of roughly £2700 to over £4100. They hadn’t accounted for specific additions to my purchase, which was clear from the outset or very early on in the process. Why the cost had not been factored in and why I wasn’t given a more accurate amended quote earlier on is beyond me. Of course I had to cough up this money from somewhere as it was now the day of completion and my existing tenancy was coming to an end. The only saving grace is that my second appointed case handler seemed polite throughout, though I was only ever in contact via email, no phone calls except day of completion to agree to proceed. Overall, the process was stressful and unfortunately I will not be able to recommend this company at this time.

An Utterly Incompetent and Terrible Service. My experience with this company was atrocious and uninformative from start to finish. I'm genuinely bewildered as to how they continue to operate given the abysmal level of service provided. The entire process felt slow and laborious. I was left on hold for over 30 minutes on multiple occasions, then the phone discnnects, no one answers there. The contact numbers provided were equally useless; the main number in their email signature didn't work, nor did the extension number I was given. My emails went unanswered, leaving crucial questions unaddressed. To add to the stress, I was informed the day before my completion date that I needed to transfer over £1000 with a completely confusing and opaque explanation as to why. This last-minute demand, coupled with their inability to provide clear information, caused significant stress. I was then informed the day after completion that I needed to pay another £44 as the completion didn't happen due to no fault of my own. I sincerely hope that remortgaging in the future isn't going to be a repeat of this nightmare. This company is utterly incompetent and provides a truly terrible service.
