Amerigas hides behind their off-site answering service and has ZERO way to contact them locally. This company has been nothing but a headache since we began using them last year. Their deliveries more times than not come late and not on the day they tell you. Upfront I will tell you the FINAL STRAW that led me to no longer forgive this company: They most recently left our propane main line unhooked and locked after a leak check/fill. This left us with no heat and it was going to take them days to get to our house to remove their lock. Of course they gave no specific time that they’d come and with the requirement that a person be present for this to happen. Every encounter we have dealt with their awful system for scheduling. If you need a leak check or if they need to come back to fix their own mistakes, they expect you to be present. But they only give you a window of days/a week that they will be coming and the earliest notification you get is a message day of. If you aren’t retired and at home every day, this is not feasible. Even when they gave me a message that day saying they’d come, they never showed and apparently it was marked as a “missed delivery” due to no one being home. However, we arranged a friend to be at our house all day until the night and no one from Amerigas even came to our door. Amerigas didn’t even drive into our driveway. What a seedy company to flat out LIE! This exact scenario happened TWICE to us within months. This company is SLOPPY. Horrible coordination within the company and with customers. We are through and will never allow Amerigas on our property again.

Ordered fuel 2 1/2 weeks ago, no delivery yet. I called every day last week except the day my husband had a heart procedure, with promises that we were on the list for delivery that very day (and were told we had to be at the house, so we've had many days wasted having to sit here) We are down to fumes now and would be out of fuel if we hadn't turned the furnace way down and are using space heaters. This isn't our first go around with them. They used to be dependable until they got an answering service to hide behind. The poor answering service tries to help and the company can ignore and postpone at their will because there is no accountability, because people can't even talk to a local office to see what the problem is. They don't even text or call and say oops sorry you waited all day, you are the nextin line. Just crickets. No communication at all unless you call and go through the whole torturous speel again with the answering service and then get the same old promise.

It is 3 degrees outside and these guys have yet to bring our gas they wanted an extra $140 after paying for the gas and then said we’ll get our gas after the cold front is over. They’re terrible people who don’t care about how cold someone is because they don’t want to get out in the cold themselves.
