Reviews Summary

Customer feedback for Warranties 2000 vehicle warranty services is heavily negative overall, with numerous reviewers expressing dissatisfaction regarding denied claims and perceived lack of transparency. Several noted issues with claims being rejected for reasons such as pre-existing faults or wear and tear exclusions, even after reportedly meeting all policy requirements. While staff politeness and the occasional positive claims experience are mentioned, these are outweighed by concerns about payout reliability and frustration with policy interpretation.

The dominant themes include delayed claim processing, allegations of misleading advertising, and customer frustration over what they describe as evasive or ambiguous policy terms. Many customers cite experiences where they paid substantial sums for coverage but struggled to receive compensation, with some indicating that promised major repairs were not supported. Positive remarks are rare but highlight moments of “the human touch” and a single hassle-free claim.

Based on the reviews, Warranties 2000 has a poor reputation for vehicle warranty fulfillment in the UK, with recurring reports of denied coverage and unresolved complaints. While some staff earn rare praise for courtesy, the overwhelming sentiment reflects mistrust and regret, making it a company regarded with caution by most reviewers. (158 words)

I was very pleased with the service I received. I had started a claim for replacement of headlight but then due to some personal issues, the claim was not pursued and the warranty expired. However I explained my situation to the team and they were kind enough to allow me to continue with the claim. It was great to see the human touch applied rather than "the computer just saying no!" Very refreshing - thank you!

Waste of money!!! Be very careful with Warranties 2000! I paid £1,000 for a Warranties 2000 platinum plan through the dealer when I bought my car. Their website clearly says they cover up to £2,500 for major repairs like gearbox problems. When my gearbox failed, they first refused to pay at all. After I chased them for weeks, they finally agreed to cover only £1,000 — less than half of what they advertise! So basically, I paid £1,000 for a warranty that gives me back the same amount — what’s the point? This is misleading and unfair. The whole reason I got the warranty was for peace of mind on expensive repairs, but instead I’m left with a huge bill and stress. I feel completely ripped off and will be reporting this to Trading Standards. I strongly advise anyone thinking of using Warranties 2000 to read every word of the small print and don’t trust what the dealer or website tells you. I’ll also be sharing my experience everywhere I can so other people don’t get caught out the same way.

Awful company! Stay away! took out a policy 6 months ago. Staff was very polite and professional when renewing policy so for that would be a 5 star (when they take your money) when it came to repairs…. Well my discovery had an engine light came on and went to limp mode. They refused to pay out as apparently the damage was there before I took out the policy! Like I would be driving around for 6months on limp mode covering nearly 5,000 miles. They then got an independent engineer as they don’t trust Land Rover specialist. Engineer mentioned all the problems the exact what Land Rover specialist said and they refused to pay as engineer said fault there for longer than 6 months even though the Land Rover specialist says it could not have been as engine would not lasted. So will seem that what ever problem I will have now, they should pay out as the independent engineer states no other faults (but I don’t hold out to them) another friend had the same issue. Look at the reviews and clearly can see this company is happy to take your money but when it comes to paying out, they will find every trick in the book to not pay out. I will be taking this further with the motor ombudsman. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!
