Reviews Summary

Customer sentiment toward V12 Vehicle Sales is mixed, with both positive and negative feedback reflected in recent reviews. Many customers appreciate individual staff members for their helpfulness and efficiency, and several mention good vehicle prices and straightforward sales processes. However, some reviewers highlight notable concerns including high-pressure sales practices, lack of upfront clarity about fees, suboptimal aftersales support, and issues with vehicle condition disclosure.

Frequent themes in these reviews center on transparency, communication, and efficiency. Buyers encountering named staff like Drew, Harvey, and Dips often felt well-assisted, while others experienced delays, disorganized site operations, or persistent follow-up calls. Customers cite frustration with unexpected administrative fees and occasional cleanliness or mechanical issues, but positive experiences commonly include swift transactions and cars that match their advertised condition.

Overall, V12 Vehicle Sales is regarded as a place for potentially good-value used cars, especially for those prioritizing price and speedy transactions. The business attracts repeat and recommendation-driven customers in regions such as Hinckley, but its reputation in the UK is tempered by complaints about sales pressure, communication lapses, and inconsistent aftersales care. Buyers are advised to clarify terms and thoroughly inspect vehicles when dealing with V12 Vehicle Sales.

The cars offered appear good value but when you account for some unreported issues the actual cost evens out with a comparable car with the hassle of having to sort it yourself. We travelled over 2 hours to collect the Tesla Model 3 Performance and I would advise against it for other buyers. More detail below. The issues which were emitted from the advert pictures and any description of the car include: 1. Curbed alloy wheels. 2. Deficient phone pad in centre console. 3. Sun visor stained and with a clip missing. 4. Tracking/ wheel alignment is out. The attitude to the condition of the car when highlighted was very blasé and were accredited to it being a used car. The response is only valid if the issues are highlighted during the buying process, it is not necessarily the issues I have a problem with, it is the lack of transparency. When you factor in the cost to replace or repair these issues I am now in the unfortunate position where I would have to been better off spending slightly more and having less hassle on receipt of the car. The Hinckley garage appears to have outgrown its premises both in space and function; the sales team ‘hot desk’ which causes delays during busy times. I was informed by what I now know to be a member of their call centre staff that firstly, the car would have sufficient charge for our return journey and secondly, the £300 admin fee would not apply if my finance arrangements did not send an invoice. Both of which did not come to fruition when we arrived to 40 miles of range and were stung with a £300 fee, again adding to the time wasted and costs incurred. Admittedly, after challenging they did retract the £300 fee. Based on my experience I would question their quality control, both mechanical and cosmetic, and integrity. The people I interacted with were nice and the process fairly efficient but I would not recommend buying unless you can go and view the car beforehand.

Searching for a Van on Autotrader I came across this Company selling a Van which suited my needs & budget. The Van seemed to be in reasonably good condition and was fairly priced with mileage below average. I contacted the Company and they insisted that I make an appointment to see the vehicle which, I duly did. They also kept insisting that I pay a £99 deposit (refundable) and also that I get a finance quote from them. Once they had my details, they relentlessly called me sometimes twice a day and I began to realise that this company is a high-pressure selling organisation. As a business owner with a small fleet of vehicles I’d already pre-arranged my own finance for the Peugeot Expert Van I wanted to look at. A member of my team went to see the Van and it was total chaos at their Sales site. Nowhere to park except 1/2 a mile away! Admitted he was a little late arriving, but it took them 1.5Hrs to get the Van from wherever it was stored. There was no continuity of sales person and there were many customers growing ever frustrated over waiting times. Totally unprofessional purely with a focus on sell, sell, sell. V12 insisted that they quote me for finance, but their overall deal was at least £1,500 more expensive over the lifetime of the finance. I tentatively agreed on the purchase (using my own finance company) and then came the Admin Fees they wanted (from memory £500), never mentioned to me prior until the test drive. In my opinion if you want a competitively priced vehicle, then V12 might be a good place to look for a guide. But, their high-pressure selling and their insistent demands that you take their finance (when you can probably find cheaper elsewhere) should be enough to make you walk away. A ‘cheap’ car with a ‘rogue’ finance deal can become an expensive car. Always do an Experian check on anything you intend to buy as the vehicles are often stock-financed and this needs to be settled before you take ‘ownership’. It also checks for insurance write-offs, VIN mismatches etc., and comes with a guarantee if you register for such. We did go on to buy a Peugeot Expert Van from a reputable dealer. See my reviews for further information. IMO, V12 are too pushy and too greedy, but of course, always make your own choices.
