I want to warn anyone considering Modern Plastic Surgery Miami – It is important for everyone to read before choosing this clinic!
From the very beginning, the entire experience felt rushed and sales-driven. At first, I thought it was just the sales staff trying to close deals quickly – which I could live with. I had read several negative reviews warning about their customer service and refund issues, but I chose to ignore them because I received a personal recommendation for the surgeon I wanted to work with.
Unfortunately, I should have listened to the bad reviews.
While I am satisfied with the results of my BBL and Lipo, I want to make it very clear: the clinic’s management and overall experience were a nightmare. The surgeon I worked with (who was excellent) has since left the clinic – which, frankly, is not surprising.
The clinic gives you the feeling they only care about getting your money. There is zero patience when it comes to explaining what you’re paying for. You’re expected to pay and move along. During the pre-op process, I waited for hours at the clinic even though I had scheduled appointments. It was disorganized and chaotic.
But the worst part – the absolute peak of the poor treatment – was when they cancelled one of the surgeries (breast augmentation), which I had already paid for the day before. They told me they didn’t have the proper implant options that i wanted avalible, so they ordered me one pair for the surgry next day, at the day of the surgry the surgeon advised me not to combine both surgeries on the same day (lipo and BBL with the brest augmentation) and that is also a bad idea cause he will needed few options of impalnts to see while the surgry diffrent sizes to match the result as much as possible to my body (non of this information was told to me the day before the surgery when I paid $4,500 to add the breast augmentation.
It wasn’t my decision to cancel it was totally their fault - there was a lack of implants that fit my body and a lack of professionalism - they could have given me all the explanations in a timely manner rather than rushing me and simply making me pay without caring too much about me. when i actually need to do a long and complicated surgery.
its been a month after the surgery and they’re refusing to refund me the amount of the surgery i did not have. They’re also trying to charge me a $750 cancellation fee, despite the fact that they’re the ones who cancelled. This is beyond unethical.
To make things worse, there’s no way to reach customer service by phone. When I called the clinic, the receptionist told me they have no way to transfer me to support. After more than a month, they still haven’t returned my money. I’m currently in the U.S. as a visitor, without a source of income, and this is a large sum that they’re holding without justification.
They also refused to refund two post-op massages I cancelled more than 24 hours in advance due to a last-minute flight change. It’s like their default answer is “no refunds” – no matter what the situation is.
The surgeons are not the issue – but this clinic is being run in a way that’s dishonest, greedy, and completely unprofessional. If I could go back in time, I would never choose Modern Plastic Surgery. You deserve to be treated with respect, clarity, and care when going through something as major as plastic surgery – and you won’t get that here.
