I must if you’re in Belfast to visit the Titanic museum. I find it sad to think that the Titanic ship is famous because it sunk after hitting an iceberg. And so many lives were lost because they believed it was unsinkable and they had not near enough life rafts for everyone on board. The owners at the time insisted upon removing many of the life rafts to make better views from the decks. There’s nothing of the real ship to see only many photographs of its construction. It was a chain of events that caused this catastrophe. A huge coal fire in the coal bunkers was burning, even before they left port. A lower quality of steel and rivets were used in the hull. The owners insisted that the captain go faster through the ice fields then he would’ve liked. All to set a record time for crossing the Atlantic. And the wireless operator was having words with another ship wireless operator. One of the wireless operators shut down and went to bed. After that event wireless operators were to operate for 24 hours a day.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We loved learning about the history of shipping, and then more specifically the details of the Titanic. The audio guide is great, but it's good that there is plenty of information available even without it. Highly recommend.

The overall experience was genuinely engaging, with thoughtfully curated exhibitions that were both informative and immersive. However, the visit felt somewhat overpriced, especially considering the £28 entrance fee did not include the audio guide—something we weren’t informed about in advance. We only found out later that an additional fee was required to access the audio component. Crowds were another drawback. The venue was extremely busy, and we encountered queues at several points throughout our visit, which slowed things down and made it harder to fully enjoy some of the exhibits.
