Primera Dental Reviews

I very rarely write reviews, but I had a very different experience here. If the review was about the friendliness of the staff, it would be 5 star all the way, but it is about the whole experience. I set an appointment as a new client to get my routine teeth cleaning. Everything started out pretty much as you would expect, they took the pictures and then the Dentist came in. she was very nice and went over some extra work she was recommending and gave me the quote to do it. I explained, that for this appointment, I only wanted a routine cleaning, but I would set an appointment for her recommendations as it was clear I needed that too. I waited for about 20 minutes, when the assistant came in and told me they could only do the extra work, or the routine cleaning today and wanted me to do the other treatment. That treatment was pretty expensive and I repeated that I was here for a routine appointment and just wanted the cleaning. I waited another 20 minutes and was moved into another room. Here they started what I thought was a normal cleaning, but the tech after looking at my pictures and teeth, said she wanted to do a "deep cleaning". She came back with a price of about $350 to do that, and I repeated I only wanted a routine office visit and cleaning. She then refused to do it if I didn't pay the uncharge. so after two hours, they took the pictures, refused to do a cleaning if I didn't pay the upcharge and now I have to wait for a little over a month for them to send the invoice to my insurance company and for them to pay it so I can get copies of the pictures to go a Dentist who will do it. I feel very disappointed in them, they have every right to uncharge as a business, but to refuse a general cleaning because I wouldn't pay, seems pretty unprofessional to me.

Absolutely amazing experience at Primera Dental! The team is incredibly friendly and professional. I had a routine cleaning and was pleasantly surprised by how gentle and thorough the hygienist was. Dr. Hamdi is fantastic—she took the time to answer all my questions and even provided me with tips for better oral hygiene. The office has a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it a place I actually look forward to visiting. Five stars all the way!
