Alexandru Nistor rated Nuneaton Car Sales 2 stars

I bought a car from this dealership a while ago, and while everything seemed okay at first, the experience quickly became frustrating and disappointing.
They offered a three month warranty, and the sale process was fairly straightforward. However, one of the biggest issues was the mileage. When I looked at the MOT history, the mileage didn't add up at all at one point it showed 80,000 miles, then dropped down to 59,000. That’s a serious red flag. When I brought it up, they claimed they weren't aware of it, which didn't make the situation feel any better.
The very same day I picked up the car, the engine warning light came on while I was driving home. The car light stated “STOP, do not drive.” I called them right away, but no one came to help. I was left with no choice but to drive the car back myself, even though it clearly wasn't safe.
They took the car back and did repair it under the warranty, but the whole thing dragged on. The car sat in their garage for three to four months, and I couldn’t use it during that time. It was beyond frustrating.
Eventually, they gave me the car back, and I drove it for another two months, until another issue appeared. I was told they had extended my warranty due to the time they kept the car, but when I went back, I was told I no longer had any warranty because “the guy who handled that left.” So I was left to pay £600 for repairs out of pocket.
Since then, the car has been nothing but problems, coolant leaks, more repairs, and now it doesn’t start at all. The injectors have failed, and I’m being told to sell the car for about 20% of what I originally paid, even though it’s an automatic and should have held its value better.
I wouldn’t buy from them again. While they were polite and responsive at times, the whole situation, from the unclear mileage, the delays, the warranty confusion, to the long-term reliability issues, left a bad taste. If you’re thinking about buying a car from here, I’d strongly recommend checking the MOT history carefully and making sure every agreement is in writing. I learned the hard way.
