My experience with National Car Hub has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to warn others before they make the same mistake I did. I purchased a Land Rover LR17 XRP from this dealership in June 2024, and everything seemed fine during the initial sale. The sales team was friendly, and after handing over £16,200, we thought we had made a sound investment. However, within 20 minutes of driving home, the vehicle's performance was restricted, displaying alarming warning lights. Instead of addressing the issue seriously, I was reassured by their staff that this was a "common problem" and that I could safely drive the car. After returning to the dealership and multiple follow-ups, I endured a long five-hour wait for repairs, only to leave with the same persistent engine warning lights reappearing minutes later. The car never truly worked properly, hindering my ability to accelerate and causing ongoing safety concerns. I reached out repeatedly for a full refund as mandated under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 but was met with pushback from the after-sales team, particularly from Jessica, who consistently failed to keep her promises and showed a shocking lack of professionalism. Fast forward to July 2025—exactly one year after my initial purchase—and the same engine performance issue resurfaced. I contacted the dealership again, hoping for resolution, but instead faced the same dismissive attitude. Once more, I was told to get the vehicle diagnosed and return with a repair bill for reimbursement—a process I had already endured many times before. The customer service at National Car Hub is appalling. I struggled through +50 emails, only to find one helpful representative, Holly. She stands out as the lone beacon of support amidst a sea of incompetence. Meanwhile, Jessica's unresponsiveness has been infuriating and has reflected poorly on the entire dealership. To add insult to injury, we were offered a subpar courtesy car—again the same old Nissan Note—when we specifically communicated our needs for a family vehicle. Now, just days away from our holiday, the car is still not resolved, and my plans hang in the balance due to their negligence. National Car Hub has demonstrated time and again that they are willing to overlook obvious issues rather than take accountability for the vehicles they sell. If you're considering purchasing from them, I urge you to think twice. Without adequate mechanical knowledge, you’ll find yourself in a pit of frustration, repairing problems that should have been addressed before the sale. They do not deserve a single star, and I hope my experience helps others avoid this regrettable mistake.
