I recently had a very disappointing experience with my local Mercedes dealership and I feel compelled to share my timeline of events. My car initially went in for investigation of a squealing noise from the engine. Unfortunately, on the first visit, they misdiagnosed the issue and fitted a steering component instead. When I got the car back, the squealing persisted, so it went in for a second time. On that occasion, they hadn’t even ordered the correct part, which meant another delay of a week or two. On the third visit, they claimed the squealing had stopped and the part wasn’t needed. However, the squealing persisted. On the fourth visit, they finally replaced the correct part and provided a courtesy car each time, which I do appreciate. Unfortunately, when I went to collect my car this final time, it had been involved in a collision, with the rear end smashed in. They nearly handed it back to me in that condition, which was shocking. I opted to keep the courtesy car at that point. Additionally, while I was there, the service light came on, and they did manage to fit in a service, which I appreciated. However, when I finally got my car back, it was clear that the windows had been left open, as there were leaves inside and the car was filthy. Even the courtesy car I returned was in better shape, which really shouldn’t be the case. Throughout this whole process, I received no official apology or meaningful reparations, other than an offer to come back for a complimentary car wash. Overall, the level of service and attention to detail was far below what I would expect from Mercedes, and I hope they take this feedback seriously.

I had a great experience at Mercedes with Bal. He was helpful, friendly and honest throughout the whole process. No pushy sales tactics at all – just straightforward advice and support. He made everything smooth and easy, and I felt really confident in my purchase. I highly recommend Bal if you are looking for a stress-free car buying experience! Bal is what makes this a 5 star review!!!!

DO NOT COME HERE FOR A WHEEL ALIGNMENT. They checked my wheels and said the alignment was fine when I had a badly worn tyre on one side before fitting new ones. I queried the results and they said they would have to investigate at substantial cost. I then was not convinced and got a alignment check elsewhere and it showed one of the values to be out. They clearly had not set up the alignment check properly.
