Laurel fertility is exactly the care I needed. The whole facility to the doctors and the staff are amazing. You can tell they genuinely care and are so empathetic. When you get sad news they understand and help you cope, when you get great news they're joyful and celebrate with you. Leslie B is such an amazing provider, she definitely got the magic touch. Without her and Laurel, we would of never gotten to create our beautiful little family. I am so grateful to have found them and get the amazing care that was needed. Thank you for all that you do in helping so many couples like us.

Dr smikle said I couldn’t But GOD SAID I COULD!! I started my IVF journey with Dr smikle it was a horrible experience and unsuccessful with him. I spent almost 2 years at laurel and I had several unsuccessful attempts with even making it to transfer day because some so called issues always arise that prevented me from making it to transfer day. However I had two previous successful IVF pregnancies years ago that resulted in two beautiful healthy children and my embryos were untested. I decided I wanted to have a 3rd child and that’s when I decided to give laurel a try because their clinic was closer to my hometown. In 2023 I started my journey with Dr smikle and this turned out to be a horrible experience. He was very rude and unprofessional at times. After several unsuccessful attempts in 2023 and 2024 I decided it was time to go elsewhere. Before I left laurel Dr smikle told me that I need to look into having a surrogate because he didn’t think I could carry a child on my own and kept acting like I had a medical condition that would prevent me from getting pregnant or even carrying my own child. I knew nothing was wrong with me and I was capable of getting pregnant and carrying my own child because prior to seeing Dr smikle and doing IVF for the 3rd time I had consulted with the IVF Dr who I previously had my two successful IVF children with and I also got a 3rd opinion so I went to Dr smikle fully prepared and knew I could do it. Dr smikle refused to use the same protocols that was successful for me in the pass and kept doing whatever he wanted so he could try and drain my bank account. In March of 2024 I decided to transfer my remaining untested embryos from laurel to a new clinic. Shortly after that I decided to start the IVF journey again at the new clinic with my untested embryo that I got during my time at laurel. This clinic decided to listen to me and we decided to use my same successful protocol from 11 years ago and I was successful in conceiving my 3rd IVF child using another untested embryo. I had the most beautiful pregnancy experience ever with zero complications and I recently delivered this beautiful healthy baby girl at full term. If I listen to Dr smikle my dream of becoming a mom of 3 would’ve never happened. Also while I was still a patient at laurel dr smikle thought I had left the office after my appointment but I didn’t I had went to the bathroom and on the way out I heard him and Leslie laughing and talking about me like I wasn’t human being. Imagine IVF is already hard and then you heard your Dr talking about you. This is a pain and experience I don’t wish on anyone. Dr smikle also had his colleague Parvin Goud perform a horrible embryo transfer on me and he got the speculum stuck inside me and he kept yanking it out aggressively and I was screaming in severe pain and agony asking him to stop and trying to get answers of what was wrong and how that happened and he just kept going until it eventually came out. There’s so much more to my story about all that i endured at this clinic and I plan to share the full story in hopes of helping others. Please take heed and avoid this clinic at all cost. If you go to laurel and you’re not happy with the information you’re giving please go and get a second or even a third opinion. I regret not walking away sooner after seeing so many reg flags and inconsistency. OH dr smikle wanted 30,000 extra for a guarantee baby 🤣 I would’ve rather go to Vegas to gamble before I do that lol. He will suggest and try everything to drain your pockets. I’m thankful I left went elsewhere and made my dream come true. Dr smikle said no BUT GOD SAID YES!! This clinic is a money grab and that’s it!!
