This is some text inside of a div block.
Do NOT buy any car through hey car! I got a SEAT Ibiza from here back in July and a few days later the engine management light came on! Trying to contact them is a joke and no one wants to help you. I returned this vehicle and got a replacement and then unfortunately it was written off 3 days after. After a couple of months i then got a another replacement vehicle which went into Limp Mode 5 days after i got this one! At first i thought it was just my bad luck but turns out it's pretty much all cars through them. Hey car don't have any idea what car you are getting and the condition on the vehicle they just try and sell you cars that aren't road worthy! The Staff are terrible and after sales don't want to know you. The attitude from the staff is absolutely disgusting and try to make out your lying . The Admin staff who arrange deliveries and collections are just as bad and talk to you like dirt. The only positive experience were the guys delivering and collecting the cars! ( who also advised me that your supposed to leave a certain amount of fuel in the car before delivering to a customer.) Which clearly did not happen🤣

Its taken me a while to reflect and write this review to give an honest a opinion but thought it worth while to help people make an informed decision when buying a car. I unfortunately had to replace my lovely Seat Leon at short notice with an rather, never really enough to really compensate, insurance pay out. I ran around to quite misogynist dealerships and got really put off by that. Boy things really haven't changed much. I happened upon heycar and thought I'd give it a go. The sale process and conversation with Karan was fabulous. The delivery and after care not so much. heycar, offer a see it online buy it service with the freedom to return the car if you don't like it when you see it. So I bought the car and on arrival it looked fine but had lots of niggling bits wrong with it. For example, a known fix by the manufacturer wasn't fixed by heycar, one would have expected this to picked up in the heycar assessment. I had this all repaired but had to spend a good 4 hours in the dealership to sort. There were other bits that I won't bore you with but in short it took a while to get the car to a good standard. heycar are fine if you want a car quick at a decent price but their pre assessment of the car is not thorough nor thoughtful, don't let the "we're part of the audi group" speal fool you. I guess you get the real assessment when you deal with a IRL dealer rather than an online dealer. Their aftercare only covers the expenses of what the car lacked in and not your time. It kinda leaves you with a sour taste in your mouth, when buying a big ticket item, when you should be feeling joy and excitement when handing over nearly £10K and getting a shiny car. The buying/receiving process really lacks the details when actually this premise could appeal to lots of women who don't want to go through the typical dealer experience. Wouldn't repeat the process. Don't really like that the aftercare is via email only and you can't ever speak to a real person. heycar takes the joy of buying a car and brings it underwhelmingly into the modern age of isolation soul-less purchasing! Best of luck.

If it was possible to put zero stars I would do. For the love of god do NOT buy a car from Hey Car. I am sure there are a few happy customers where they’ve bought a car and had no issues. But we have an issue with the car we have bought and cannot get hold of anyone from Hey Car - there does not seem to be a working central number and our calls and emails just go unanswered. Unbelievably unprofessional and I categorically would not ever use this shoddy company again. Please save yourself the stress and hassle!

Reviews Summary

Customer sentiment regarding heycar’s online car buying service is predominantly negative, with several reviewers expressing frustration over communication failures, delayed deliveries, and unresolved vehicle issues. Some cite specific staff as helpful, but most feedback centers on poor after-sales support and difficulties reaching the company through phone or email. A small number of customers found competitive pricing or courteous delivery staff, yet these positives are overshadowed by reports of cars arriving in subpar condition, unaddressed mechanical faults, and administrative errors.

Key themes include a lack of transparency during the purchase process and inconsistent pre-sale vehicle assessments. Communication breakdowns—such as unanswered calls, delayed emails, and unclear status updates—are frequently mentioned. Several reviewers detail unresolved operational problems, such as cars being dirty or not roadworthy at delivery, long wait times for refunds or vehicle replacements, and a sense that accountability between heycar and partner dealerships is lacking.

Overall, heycar’s reputation as an online car seller is mixed to negative, based on these reviews. While a few customers report eventual satisfaction or compensation, most highlight significant problems with reliability and customer service. In regions where heycar operates, potential buyers may wish to weigh convenience and price advantages against risks of poor aftercare and communication challenges.
