This is some text inside of a div block.
Dunelm have always been a great company to purchase from. we have purchased a number of beds off them and even though one of them wasn’t up to standard with wrong parts being included they were very helpful to resolve the issues and quick to replace. The whole purchase and delivery experience was above much more expensive companies. Putting out kind at ease through the whole process

Don't buy from Dunelm, and please tell others not to buy from them either. We bought a bed from them just over a year ago and the plastic parts that hold the slats into the frame have kept breaking, despite us not moving the bed or doing anything other than flipping the mattress. A handful of spares came with the bed but they've now run out. I called their customer service today, expecting to be sent a bag of spares as per our rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (as a bed would be expected to last a lot more than a year). After being on the phone to their customer service department for over half an hour I was told that they won't be sending us spare parts as the bed is out of the one year warranty. Contrast this 'service' with MADE, who sent us a spare part for another furnishing for free, after a simple enquiry by email, and with no questions asked. Also note that other sellers offer longer warranties at no extra cost. This is a company that's prepared to accept bad publicity and a telling off from trading standards for the sake of a few quid's worth of plastic. We certainly won't be ordering anything from them again.

Oswald sofa and 2 matching chairs bought for an 82 year old petite mother and delivered in January 2024. March 2025 sofa leg collapsed. Several emails, with photos and an independent report stating poor quality wood used. All replies back saying sorry out of warranty nothing we can do, This was having dealt with 13 different customer service advisors. All letters from Consumer Advice Services have all been rejected even though goods are faulty and covered by the 2015 consumer goods act. Option now is the small claims court.

Reviews Summary

Reviewers provide a largely negative sentiment regarding Dunelm, particularly centered on recent interactions and purchases involving beds, sofas, and various home products. A few customers mention positive experiences with helpful staff resolving issues, yet the bulk of feedback details frustration with customer service inefficiency, warranty limitations, and trouble accessing live support systems. Criticisms around miscommunication, product quality, and inability to resolve concerns are prevalent, sometimes even after extended attempts to contact multiple advisors.

Common feedback includes recurring dissatisfaction about the lack of accessible or responsive customer service and inadequate after-sales support. Customers across various Dunelm branches report poor-quality products, missing items, and difficulties with made-to-measure services or click-and-collect. Issues such as unhelpful management, rigid warranty enforcement, and unaddressed complaints shape these themes, suggesting systemic operational problems rather than isolated incidents.

Overall, Dunelm's reputation appears markedly diminished based on recent reviewer feedback from the UK. Recurring service failures, unresolved faults, and rigid policies have weakened trust in the company, potentially impacting repeat business. The emphasis on communication breakdown and perceived indifference in customer care stands out as a significant concern influencing customer perceptions locally.
