This is some text inside of a div block.
Ordered our fence in April 2025 having had a representative visit our property to discuss, measure up and quote. We agreed to go ahead. Fence installed end of July. The installers were great however there were not enough materials. They contacted their manager Jon whilst they were here to discuss and I also spoke with him. It turned out that the representative hadn’t measured it correctly back in April (our quote/invoice had no measurements on it but we assumed that as he had measured it himself it would be correct). Jon was brilliant helping us to get it sorted out, even when the directors wanted to charge us for the fence to be completed! Last week (9th September) we had 2 small metal pieces of fence and a post delivered which we knew nothing about. I have contacted ColourFence by email and phone to find out what is happening but have received no updates. The materials delivered are nowhere near enough to finish the fence. Considering we ordered in April and our fence is still not complete we do not consider this even close to acceptable. Aside from the installers and Jon, the whole experience has been awful for which I give my 1 star. The fence itself would look nice it it was completed but I would steer clear of this Company if you don’t need extreme stress and disruption!

I'd like to say that the installation team were highly professional and a pleasure to deal with..... I'd like to, but I'd be lying. A 2 day job taken more than 3. It would have been 2 days if they work a full day. Turning up at gone 10.30 and leaving by 3.30 to 4pm is not a days work. No communication as to what's happening. Finished for the day on the Tuesday, returned on Friday without saying why. We only knew they weren't finishing on time because of the fantastic workers doing our cladding. Rubbish left, and still finding detritus left behind by them. The office and sales staff are great, as is the product.........without them there'd be no stars.

Terrible company to deal with. Seems its any-ones fault that the fence is not finished when they say it will be. When complaining, be aware that you may be in for excuse after excuse. My fence is still not completed. Find someone else to do the job.

Reviews Summary

The overall sentiment in reviews for ColourFence’s fencing contractor services is notably negative, with consistent dissatisfaction expressed by customers. While there are some remarks commending individual staff or the product in isolation, the predominant experience involves poor project completion, significant delays, communication breakdowns, and unresolved issues. Positive mentions do recognize effort from people like Jon and praise the office and sales staff, but these are outweighed by sustained frustration and disappointment over unfinished jobs and lack of updates.

Frequent patterns emerging in the feedback include delays extending for months, a lack of responsiveness from the office, miscommunication about scheduling, and subpar installation quality. Customers repeatedly describe situations where projects remain incomplete far beyond agreed timelines, and attempts to get answers are ignored or met with excuses. Complaints about unskilled workmanship and poor customer service recur throughout, with several reviews explicitly describing situations resulting in property damage or distress.

In summary, ColourFence is seen as unreliable for fencing contractor services, with a reputation for unfinished work, lack of communication, and customer frustration. While a few staff members do receive individual praise, most customers report unresolved delays and poor handling of complaints. In this region, prospective clients may wish to consider alternatives given this pattern of negative feedback.
