To anyone thinking of buying a car from Cinch, be very careful. My suggestion, and I cannot stress this enough, is that you ignore the fact that the car has a valid MOT and that has been fully checked. As soon as they deliver the car, check every inch of it. Check brakes, engine oil, wiper blades, and anything else you can check yourself. Then take the car to your local garage and have them to check the car from top to bottom. Don't be afraid to semd the,car back, if you have to. I wish i had... Cinch gives you a prefilled form saying that the car has been fully checked, but in my case, the brake disks are corroded and have deep groves. I made the mistake of believing what I was told, that they simply needed to run and to clean up a bit. That was not the case. After a few months the brakes are quite bad, and very spongy. I raised the issue with Cinch, but they said the car was fine and they wouldn't have the brakes replaced, despite the report from Halfords. So I now have to fork out the cost of replacing brake disks and pads. Hladord's quoted me over £900. More over, I already had to replace all wiper blades that were completely ruined. The rear one had pieces of the blade hanging off that had been wrapped around the wiper metal frame. Only just for the wipers the MOT should have failed. For the brakes the MOT should at the very least had an advisory, but nothis appeared on the MOT test. I'm going to report the MOT station for negligence. Their checks didn't raise any issues for both, wiper blades and brakes. So the way I see it, neither the MOT station nor their checks are reliable. My experience has been quite bad, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy a car from Cinch. I thought they would have been cheaper and more reliable than the local dealership, but boy, oh boy, I was wrong....
