CG Cosmetic Surgery Reviews

I am providing an update following my initial experience with CG Cosmetics. My first experience with CG Cosmetics was not particularly positive. However, after my best friend underwent surgery there, I decided to give them a second chance, and I am pleased that I did. The first care coordinator I worked with was not very communicative. During my second experience, my care coordinator, Raquel, was very attentive, patient, friendly, and answered all my questions with knowledge and honesty. The process of scheduling my surgical procedure went smoothly on the second attempt. I had my preoperative appointment the day before my surgery, which went well overall; there was a brief wait, but it was worthwhile. Dr. Carvalho was extremely kind and honest about my procedure, answering all my questions and providing sincere opinions, which I appreciated. All the nurses, medical assistants, and front desk staff were welcoming and caring. My surgery exceeded my expectations, and my post-operative appointment was very positive. The entire staff demonstrates friendliness and concern for their patients. I am glad I chose to give CG Cosmetics a second opportunity.

Breast augmentation with dr frieman Came in from pa. I got all of my labs/dr note & ekg done at home. The day of pre op my apt was at 10am. Didnt end up leaving until after 4pm! The office was insane with patients! After waiting two hours I went up to receptionst & told her I didn’t need bloodwork tht all my preop requirements i did at home and brought results with me, was there anyway to be seen now as my kids are getting hungey & many others i spoke with in waiting area still needed bloodwork/ekg, etc. she said i needed to wait & could go get lunch & come back! After i was seen i was out the door in 10 min. I was told rhis was when i was going to get to look at implants & try on different ones for sizing. That didn’t happen- i was told id do that with surgeon RIGHT BEFORE SURGERY! didnt even see doc that day AT ALL. then, i asked for my surgery time. They said they would call me later on to give me the time, as all pre op patients needed to be seen before or schedule was made. So they called around 5 & told me my surgery was at 2:30 the next day & i needed to be there half hour early at 2. I asked if there was anyway to do it earlier since i needed to fast & they said no, schedule already done. So i made child care arrangements based on times they gave me. The next morning i wake up around 8am to them calling me asking if i can come to surgery now. No!?! I already made childcare arrangements and i asked to come in earlier yesterday, yall Said no! She said ok see you at 2. We had an hour ish drive from our condo in Fort Lauderdale so we left around 12:30 to get there a little before 2. As soon as we got in the car the nurse called me asking if i was coming. Yes.. im driving now (assumed she was just confirming) then she called again at 1:30 .. where are you? You have surgery today. Yes i know, you said to be a half hour early and get there at 2, my surg is at 2:30!!?! She goes “how long til your here, doctor is waiting for you” she literally took my anxiety from 10 to 100 and now we are speeding to get there. We arrived 10 mins before 2:00 and it was evident everyone was rushing around. I even made a comment to nurse saying i hope they aren’t going to rush while doing my surgery! She said no, just lots of patients to see today. I will say in spite of all that the staff was wonderful. Very friendly & smily. Slight language barrier. All staff except the doctor was primarily spanish speaking but some did speak English just a little hard to understand. Either way, they all made me feel comfortable so my nerves started to settle. I met dr friman for first time about ten min before going to OR. He was very pleasant and easy to understand. I told him i wanted to look full but natural. He asked if i He measured my chest and asked if i had any inspo photos which i didnt! (Make sure you do!!) he said he had a pretty good idea what i wanted and said not to worry. He made me feel very comfortable and was very educational. I still never got to see or hold any implants and wish i would have asked to see some, but his confidence assured me i wa s in good hands. I then met the anasthesiolgist and he also had great besIde mannor. Said he would be with me whole procedure and explained what was going to happen. He got me a warm blanket to cover with as i layed on OR table. I said “im getting anxious about that mask thing on my face and counting backwards like you see in movies” he said it wont be like that! Im just going to put some medicine in your IV to help you relax. I said “am i going to sleep now?” He said “ no not yet, ill tell you when. For now just close your eyes and relax” next thing i know i woke up in post op all done! Pain was tolerable. Def uncomfortable but not as bad as i thought! I did feel like they rushed me out of recovery. I wasnt even fully awake and they had me get up to wheelchair and were cleaning the stretcher. I think i was in recovery no more than 30 min. As far as result right now im very swollen but i can tell they will look great all healed & just what i wanted!
