We visited Blenheim palace today. We had a wonderful time here. Staff is very friendly and everything is accessible in a wheelchair. We wanted to visit the rooftop, but we were told that I couldn't because I wore slippers. One of the staff members gave me a tip to switch shoes with my mum who is in a wheelchair. That way we could visit the rooftop. Boy, was I thankful for that suggestion because you have a magnificent view once you're up there! Everything in the palace is accessible. Staff is pro active in giving service and suggestions, which we really appreciated. In the afternoon it started to rain and we had planned to visit the gardens. No worry.... your ticket is valid for a whole year, so you can come back whenever you like. We're planning to visit the gardens in the next couple of days when the weather is better.

Gorgeous walks. We have started visiting weekly during the nice weather. The grounds are amazing. The secret garden is my favourite to stop with a picnic. The butterfly house is magical when all of the butterflies are out. The adventure play area looks fun as well. £5 for an adult, £7 for a child over 3, under 3 is free. Definitely worth a visit. Recommend getting the membership if you are going to go more than once in a year as it is only an extra tenner.

Blenheim Palace is absolutely stunning. The gardens and grounds are unrivalled in their beauty – perfectly landscaped and full of hidden gems to explore. The palace itself is magnificent, with every room steeped in history and elegance. What really sets it apart is the fascinating backstory – from its origins as a gift to the Duke of Marlborough to being the birthplace of Winston Churchill. There’s so much to take in, and it’s all incredibly well presented. A perfect day out for anyone who loves history, architecture, or just wants to enjoy some of the most beautiful surroundings in the country. Highly recommend!
