Fantastic day out with the kids, loved seeing all the monkeys and babies monkeys. Kids learnt as many facts about them. Staff were all friendly and informative. Great playground for the kids and they loved making the dens. We took a picnic but food looked nice.

We had seen Monkey Forest on TikTok and had been trying to come for years, today we finally took the plunge and drove the 2 hours to visit, and it was completely worth it. The monkeys were amazing and we must have just stood watching them for well over an hour in the two main feeding areas. The baby monkeys were the cutest things we’ve ever seen. Really enjoyed getting so close and learning so much as well, our 6 year old loved it. My only negative would be the cafe and shop. The food selection in the cafe was terrible and very expensive for what it was, there was also very very limited vegetarian options for me. This was a real shame as the cafe from the outside looked like it was going to have some real nice food, I was expecting National Trust level of food selection with nice local food and the such, instead we got what I’d call school canteen or theme park style basic chips and nuggets etc, such a shame it really is. As for the shop, they need to put some seats in there so you’re sitting down when you see the price tags! I have never in my life seen such expensive souvenirs, astronomical prices! Honestly you’d get better value at a Disney park, I couldn’t believe it, even our 6 year old commented that it was really expensive! Amazing monkeys but definitely take a picnic and avoid the gift shop unless you’ve taken financial advice beforehand. Oh that said, incredible ice cream, delicious!

Brilliant!. Last minute this was. No kids. Just went with my partner for something to do on a random day off we both had. Love walking. Staff are really nice. There are staff members standing at every point where you go round to the monkey forest. Very spacious. The cafe and food places are really nice too, good variety of food, decent priced. The gift shop is amazing too, purchased a few items from there. Take your own kids scooter to push them up in case they don't want to keep walking as it can get a little steep too. I'll be visiting again. This time with my niece and nephew.
