Sunita's Taxi and Tours "St Maarten" Reviews

We had a wonderful introductory tour of the island of St. Maarten with Mama Gucci (aka Sunita) on 01/20/2025. She is a delight and tailored our tour to our interests. This was a great way to learn our way around the island early in our trip as we had access to a rental vehicle. This tour definitely helped us decide which areas we wanted to explore later in the week. We enjoyed learning the history of the island. Mama Gucci has lived here since she was 10 years old so she knows the islands very well. Her van is immaculate and she has great air conditioning which was nice for our private group of 8 people. She was on time picking us up for our tour and took us on a non-rushed information filled tour that included hidden gems and advice on areas to visit that we most likely would not have found ourselves. She certainly helped us be more efficient on what we chose to do the rest of the week. This is a family business that includes her son, Raj, and her husband, ‘Too Cool’ , who also give tours and who you will read about in other reviews. This family takes pride in the service they offer. We enjoyed Mama Gucci so much we asked her to chauffeur our group to dinner one night and to take us back to the airport to catch our flight home. Even though we had access to a rental vehicle it was much more relaxing to turn the driving over to someone who knows the area well and deals with the busy traffic and island roads on a daily basis.
