Wasn't really what we were expecting but it was a great time nonetheless. They had a humongous buffet where they served all the typical foods and American style as well. The food was very good in the seafood was fresh I thoroughly enjoyed it. After that we got to see a show they put on and it was magnificent

Amazing Experience at the Polynesian Cultural Center – Highly Recommend! I had such a memorable experience at the Polynesian Cultural Center! I bought the tickets online and went with the Gateway Buffet package, which I highly recommend. One of the best parts is that your admission is valid for three days, so you can take your time exploring. The day started with a beautiful welcome ceremony where performers from all the different Polynesian cultures came together—it was moving and set the tone for the rest of the visit. We then explored each “island,” learning about their unique customs and participating in fun, hands-on activities. Samoa was my absolute favorite—so entertaining and impressive, especially watching them start a fire with nothing but natural materials! At 4:30 PM, we headed to the Gateway Buffet, and WOW—what an experience. The buffet was huge, with a wide variety of delicious dishes. I would honestly come back just for that meal! The evening ended with the “Ha: Breath of Life” show, which was the perfect finale. The storytelling was powerful, and the fire performance at the end was absolutely breathtaking. The PCC is run by the Mormon Church, and most of the staff are students working as part of a university program. They were all warm, knowledgeable, and welcoming. There’s also an optional campus tour if you’re interested in learning more. All in all, I had a fantastic time. This is a must-visit when you’re in Oahu—and seriously, don’t skip the buffet!

This was my second time (my family’s first) and it was just as amazing! We caught the charter bus close to our hotel, the driver was funny and informative. The PCC itself was beautiful. We did a guided group tour- our tour guide was very entertaining and helpful. The only thing I wish was that we could have seen all the villages in the day, but it was still a wonderful experience. The luau and food were great. The nighttime show, though, was phenomenal!! I would highly recommend the PCC if you’re going to Oahu.
