This is some text inside of a div block.
Nice theme park for my child's age plenty for young kids to do, You have the sea lion splash the circus and the birds of paradise. The place is quite run down definitely needs some sort of investment.

If it wasn't for the fact that I paid to get in, I could have been an urban explorer looking around an abandoned theme park. Sorry (not sorry) this place is now an absolute disgrace - fallen from a lovely local attraction to a theme park that has been allowed to fall apart. So sad to see; lots of investment 11 years ago when we first visited but neglected since due to false promises, it seems, by 'Looping Group', the French company that bought the park some years ago. This company seem to be wringing the last possible finance from the park before it is closed. Some of the rides today were closed 'for maintenence' (which is a concern in its own right), staff were lovely, but it's pretty clear they are fed up. Plus points: 1. The park was open. 2. The staff were friendly. Negative points: 1. The park was open. Please (pretty please, with a cherry on top) someone tell Laurent Bruloy (owner of Looping Group) that his takeover of this theme park and subsequent management is the worst thing that could have happened in its history. Urbex (joke) pictures attached; these were taken today (1st August 2025 - peak season) while the park should have been in full swing.. zoom in to see the filthy condition of pretty much everything. To the person at Pleasurewood Hills whose job it is to respond to reviews; don't bother (I've read the copy/paste 'sad' to receive 1/5 etc..) forward this review to senior management before it is, truly, too late for you all.

This is a beautiful family theme park. Its has its charm to it and that's why we love it. Great choice of rides and shows to keep all the family entertained. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We cant wait to visit again in August.

Reviews Summary

Overall sentiment toward Pleasurewood Hills theme park is mixed, with strong opinions at both ends of the spectrum. Reviewers frequently comment on issues such as closed rides, outdated facilities, and areas in visible disrepair. While many agree the park offers age-appropriate entertainment for children and note friendly, accommodating staff, several visitors express disappointment with the current management and upkeep.

Common feedback highlights positives such as a variety of attractions, responsive staff, short wait times outside of peak periods, and reasonable food prices for a theme park. However, recurring criticisms include frequent ride breakdowns, neglected infrastructure, expensive entry fees, concerns about cleanliness, and the need for significant investment to revitalize the park. Logistical frustrations and crowd management during busy times are also notable concerns.

In summary, Pleasurewood Hills' reputation in the region is currently mixed; it maintains appeal primarily for families with younger children but faces significant reputational challenges due to its maintenance issues and inconsistent value for money. Staff interactions are a bright spot, but for repeat or local visitors, future investment in the park would likely influence continued patronage.
