Reviews Summary

An analysis of recent customer feedback indicates that the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum maintains a positive reputation among its visitors. Commonly highlighted is the eclectic nature of its collection, with exhibits and artifacts that appeal to a wide spectrum of interests including Scottish history, classic and modern art, and a range of 'collectables'. The provision of free entry, though donations are encouraged, stands out as a positive element contributing to the institution's accessibility and popularity. The presence of the organ player, specifically during the daily recitals in the grand hall, garners particular acclaim and enhances the visitor experience. On the logistic side, the convenience of on-site amenities including a cafe, a restaurant, and a souvenir shop enhances the overall customer experience, despite occasional crowding. The architecture of the Victorian building is another element consistently praised. However, the visitor experience may be negatively impacted by operational aspects such as parking and crowdedness.

Amazing, Walked through quickly. Great place for kids and souvenir shoppers. Very eclectic. The organ player was entertaining a crowd as we entered. An eclectic grouping grouping of collectibles. The museum is free with a donation box at the entrance. There is a cafe on the main level and a restaurant on the lower level. Both were crowded when we visited.

A very good gallery and museum, with a wide range of exhibits and artworks, historical artefacts and Scottish history. Several classic Old Master paintings, surprising for a municipal gallery. Some temporary exhibitions also. Worth listening to the organ recital in the grand hall at 13:00 every day.

Beautiful and interesting gallery with many different exhibitions. Entry is free but they do appreciate donations. Come at 1pm to see the organists play in the main gallery square, wonder sounds that resound through the hall. Plenty of paid parking right outside the gallery though take note that the parking machines only accept coins.
