We recently moved out of state and we have been trying to get our medical records transferred and it’s been a nightmare. They use a third party to manage records but neither them nor the third party can get us the records. By Illinois law, medical records need to be available within 30 days and it’s been 43 days and counting. This is unacceptable and the office and the third party just point at each other for blame. I only give them two stars because McCann provides a good doctor experience. But the access to my legally required medical records has been a huge pain.

My husband and I have been trying for over two months to get medical records for our children sent to our new doctor so we can get physicals for school. The only way is to call the main office here but then get told that a medical records company keeps those on file and I need to call them. I never get a direct number but instead get transferred to a voicemail box that is always full. If I chat with Ascension, it's the same thing. our new pediatrician has tried twice on our behalf, with no success. It's been two months of this and we have been told several times that we cannot send the kids to school until new records are received. This is ridiculous. Can SOMEONE provide us with a live person to get in contact with?? We've left online requests and anything else we can find. Erin McCann overall has been a great doctor to our family but lately the office has failed in all aspects of assistance. Do I need to threaten with Ascension having all responsibility of handling all school costs and time lost because of this?

Don't park in the lot. I got a boot. My infant wasn't ready to go back in the car seat so I took a walk. The parking attendant was a monster who even had "parenting advice" and it was such a nightmare with a small baby. There are actually midwives at this office too so I can imagine some poor pregnant lady will get a boot. Or another distracted parent. I don't get why this would be something at a doctor's office. Pay to park on street or find a doctor that has parking for their patients and doesn't have a predatory parking attendant who is ridiculously armed, scummy and smelly. Terrible for my baby to witness her mother being treated badly. And a financial hardship.
