Colony Roofers Reviews

Colony Roofers came to repair my roof on Thursday 3/21. The work was completed that day and on Friday 3/22 after a day of rain, the original problems returned. Water continued to leak into my house and the newly replaced soffit failed. The workmanship on the soffit repair is particularly awful. You can see where clear Liquid Nails (or something similar) was used and painted over. You can also see in the attached photo where my finger is stuck into wet caulk (still not dry 4 days post repair) that was also painted over. Colony Roofers is sending someone to my house this Friday since I am "under warranty" and they are going to address these issues a second time. Everyone at Colony Roofers is helpful and polite. The technicians were polite and clearly over worked. My initial appointment was pushed back several hours and the technicians did not leave my house until around 8PM. I cannot imagine how hard it is to have to bounce from house to house especially if you are overbooked and running behind. I wrote this review to help others be aware that despite the good reviews and the professionalism of the office staff, I believe Colony might be overstretched and that impacts the quality of their work. Knowing what I know now, I would have selected another company for my roof repair to ensure a quality repair was done correctly the first time rather than a rushed repair that lacks the craftsmanship I expected with a 4.9 star rating on Google.
