Amazing holiday with our children 9 & 6 searching for Santa. Our artic star Maisie ran our trip like clockwork and went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. Both of our children have ASD and from the second we stepped foot on the coach Maisie was so helpful, informative and kind. This holiday may cost more than other competitors but the experience was so authentic and we are so glad we spent the extra money as you really do get what you pay for!

We cannot convey how amazing our trip to Lapland was with Canterbury Travel was in December 2023 on the Magical Interlude Package. After exploring other travel providers, from the moment we spoke to their booking team to arriving back in Gatewick, the experience was positive, quality and well organised. The whole experience was grounded on the story to find Santa Claus with the help of the elves. The story began from our child receiving a package from Lapland with a bag and personalised invitation from Santa. The holiday was a busy and active one, making the most of enjoying the country, its culture, education around their history, living in harmony with the land and the magic of Christmas. We enjoyed activities including snow mobiling, tobogganing, husky sledging and reindeer rides. The staff and elves played with the children sledging and having snow ball fights so adults could enjoy the activities too. Everything was taken care of from the winter clothing and equipment, accommodation and food, you just turn up! At the activity points there are fire pits and warm juice to keep you warm. You do have time to experience and enjoy the snow. We stayed in Lusto and felt it was away from the commercial side of the country in Rovaniemi, but did swing by on our way back to the airport for a look around and last minute gifts. The experience and memories we made were priceless and we will be going again with Canterbury Travel. We cannot advocate how amazing the staff they had were and experience they gave us, including the local coach driver who was fantastic.

Lapland day trip was absolutely fantastic. From the chocolate offered while queuing to check in to arriving back home everything was so well planned, great fun, great service and Lapland was just amazing. The flights, crew ( the Flying Finns pilots!) but the resort and scenery were breathtaking not commercialised or crowded and little or no queuing. Thoroughly recommend this memory making day trip thank you everyone Jet 2 and Canterbury Travel. ❤️
