Reviews Summary

Review sentiment for Biote clinics and their hormone pellet therapy is highly mixed. Many reviewers mention significant adverse side effects, including unwanted physical changes, persistent health issues, and poor client-provider communication. Some express dissatisfaction with provider competence, inconsistent monitoring, and lack of proper follow-up for complications. Notably, a few highlight unprofessional or dismissive responses when reporting concerns, raising patient safety issues for the clinic’s reputation.

The dominant themes in customer feedback involve therapy efficacy, side effects, and the clinical oversight process. Positive experiences reference improved energy, libido, and menopausal symptom relief when closely monitored by a proactive provider. Negative trends include hormone imbalance, physical discomfort, communication lapses, and a general call for improved training and follow-up. Cost is noted as a concern, especially when outcomes are poor, and some reviews reflect dissatisfaction with how complications and queries are handled.

Overall, Biote maintains a polarizing reputation within reproductive hormone therapy, with some patients reporting life-changing symptom relief, especially when providers are attentive. However, a substantial number of critical accounts from diverse locations highlight the need for thorough practitioner training and ongoing monitoring. The company is seen as offering both restorative and problematic outcomes, strongly linked to provider practices.

Thought this clinic would help me with my severe menopause issues but the doctor created other more severe issues. Unbeknownst to me I was given a very high dose of testosterone along with estrogen and progesterone. My voice got scratchy, body hair started to grow more, I had bleeding after nothing for 7 years and there were physical developments that are now permanent despite it being over a year. When I brought it up the doctor acted all put out about it. Additionally the insertions did not go well, but one was particularly bad and literally felt like I had been shot. It not only left a massive dark purple bruise but I could barely walk for days and it took at least 3 weeks to not hurt when touched. That was the final straw for me. I am menopausal but now for all intents and purposes I also have PCOS symptoms due to the high testosterone wreaking havoc on my system.

The first time I had the pellets really helped my weight ,my labido ,etc. A couple owned business . The husband did my first pellets.. I didn't have any bad side effects. The second time was with the same couple owned business. The wife did this one. Its been a mess. Spotting, tender breast, my hair gets oily in a couple of days and really stinks. My Body odor has changed and not for the better. I hate it! I'm not sure what went wrong. But whatever it is , I called the practice and they are rude and have no bedside manner. I would rather not deal with them. I hope this stuff gets out of my system quick. @$375 a pop plus vitamins is a big investment. Not worth it this time.
